outgoing committees

Dear Fellow Presbyterians,
Greetings! We are in a new day in the Miami Presbytery with the adoption
of the new design for governance by
the Presbytery, at its stated meeting on March 10, 2007. As prescribed in
the new design, many of the committees of presbytery will sunset, ceasing
to operate after the June 12 presbytery meeting. As we move toward that
date, let us take this time to reflect on and celebrate the good work, in
Christ, that we have done in the committees of presbytery. We know that
new ways of serving God in Miami Presbytery will follow soon.
As part of this celebrating and reflecting, let me cordially invite you to
an Open House, Sunday, May 20 from 2:00 until 5:00 in the afternoon at the
Club House at the Estates at Willow Creek (at the intersection of Bigger
Road and Wembley Circle in Centerville).
I look forward to seeing everyone there and it would help me as I plan
food, if you would call (258-8118) to say that you will attend.
