More than ten churches participated in a Congregational Transformation/Redevelopment workshop in November 2006. The workshop was sponsored by the Congregational Strategies Committee of Miami Presbytery and held at College Hill Community Presbyterian Church, Dayton, Ohio.

It was led by The Rev. Steve Boots and was the second workshop on the steps he believes a congregation needs to go through for transformation to happen. Steve led the first workshop on “Creating Spiritual Energy”, and this workshop was called “Reconnecting with the Community.” Other areas of importance are Congregational Identity, Developing a Ministry Plan, and Congregational Leadership.  

The Congregational Strategies Committee promises more workshops on Congregational Transformation/Redevelopment.
