The Christ Journey:  Preaching Lent and Holy Week is a one-day workshop presented by the Center for Worship, Preaching and the Arts of the Institute for Applied Theology at United Theological Seminary.  Led by Dr. Richard Eslinger, Professor of Homiletics and Worship at United, this ecumenical gathering will provide homiletical strategies and resources for Lent, Holy Week and Easter.

Registration is open to anyone; pastors and laity who have responsibilities for Christian formation and congregational worship will find this workshop especially helpful.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Whitney Lecture Hall on the UTS Campus, 4501 Denlinger Rd., Trotwood, Ohio.  Cost is $65.00 and includes lunch.  For those interested, a .5 CEU credit is available for an additional $10.
