The Rev. Dr. Mark Lomax to lead revival service

The Rev. Dr. Curtis Kearns, Associate Director of the General Assembly Council, will be the speaker for World Communion Service at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, October 7, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Dayton, Ohio.

Trinity will have a revival service all week, September 24 to 28 at 7:30 P.M. There will be a workshop on Presbyterian lay pastors and their use in the church, plus how to work as a lay pastor. The workshop will begin on Saturday starting at 9:30 A.M. and will conclude in a sermon on Sunday morning at the 11:00 A.M. service. The Pastor who is in charge of the revival and the workshop will be The Rev. Dr. Mark Lomax, pastor of First Afrikan Presbyterian Church in Lithonia, Georgia. There will be choirs from different churches to supply music during the week, with Trinity’s choir on Monday and Thursday, and the choir from Dr. Lomax’s church on Friday night.

Trinity will also be hosting a spaghetti dinner and auction on Friday, September 21. They ask you to come and join. Dinner will be $7.00 per person.
