New This Month

Dear Friends of the Resource Center,

The Resource Center of Miami Presbytery will not be staffed for two weeks beginning December 19 through January 2. Access to the Resource Center is available anytime the Presbytery Office is open by contacting Tom Oxley for a key. The catalog is online and available by clicking on the online catalog to see if a volume is checked in or out.

It has been enjoyable to help for the past 18 months in the Resource Center.
Watch for new and exciting possibilities in the Resource Center. -Jeanne McIver

What’s the POINT?

Presbyterians Organized in Nurture and Teaching (POINT) is a network of knowledgeable, enthusiastic volunteers who have been trained and equipped to lead the way in sharing our curriculum with you. This includes We Believe, our denominational curriculum, as well as Bible Quest and The Present Word, our curricula produced in ecumenical partnership.

Miami Presbytery's POINT volunteers can:

Visit your church and share our curriculum choices in a meeting or workshop setting with educational leaders in your congregation.

Help your church know what to order and when and how to order your materials.

Train your teachers and set up a schedule for your church school year.

Report your questions, concerns, suggestions, and ideas to the developers of our curriculum.
