About the artist, Al Staggs
Al Staggs is a performance artist known for bringing characters to life. Drawing on his 24 years experience as a Baptist minister, he is able to bring audience members to the prison cell where Bonhoeffer is awaiting his execution, and listen to the struggles he faces with evil, injustice, racism and God.
