The Commissioned Lay Pastors Task Force of the the Presbytery of the Miami
Valley will hold a
special continuing education seminar of May 4 in the sanctuary of Memorial
Presbyterian Church, Dayton.
The seminar is open to Commissioned Lay Pastors, interested Elders,
seminary students, and candidates for ordination. The seminar will focus
on the practical use of the Book of Common Worship and will be led by The
Rev. Dr. Lisa Hess (United Theological Seminary) and The Rev. Brian
Maguire (Westminster Presbyterian Church, Xenia).
Each attendee is asked to bring a copy of the Book of Common Worship.
